My love of the poodle began as a young child, my first poodle being a silver toy in 1960, from then on I have always had poodles in my life. 1975 during my search for another toy I met many breeder/exhibitors which peaked my interest in the world of breeding and exhibiting of toy poodles. 1980 I purchased my first standard poodles breeding on a limited basis While attending our Nationals in 1995 I saw one of the prettiest breath taking silver standard poodles Am.and.Ch.Lemerle French Silk, aka " Monique" go Best of Variety. It was then I decided I wanted a silver standard. In 1997 I started my search for a Silver standard. Our silver girl Ch. Keja Highview Shimmering Silk, aka "Shimmer" was born on July 4, 1997, a litter of eight, a full litter sister to Am.Can.Ch.Lemerle Silk Comedian of Keja. Ten weeks later sight on seen Shimmer arriving at the airport, was a happy, beautiful well adjusted puppy.... The foundation of our silver standard lines. This was our beginning, although I dearly love the toys, the standards won my heart over.
